Essential Duties  • Recruits sports events and tournaments to the Aurora Area and identifies sports related events that could be held in service area athletic venues• Maintains an inventory of sports facilities in the region and cultivates working relationships with managers of those venues• Continues to grow the Aurora Area Sports Alliance brand under the umbrella of the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau• Is active in sales programs to bring new, returning and expanding business to the area including attendance at regional and nations sports-related tradeshows and marketplaces, on-line bid portals, sales outreach to tournament directors, events rights holders, governing bodies and others as required to secure business.
