Oak View Group (OVG) Facilities has retained SearchWide Global to find a collaborative, enterprising, and dynamic professional to serve as the new General Manager of the Lynnwood Convention Center. Located just 15 miles north of downtown Seattle, Lynnwood is a beautiful town nestled within the vibrant Seattle Northcountry.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with or for a DMO/CVB or event facility sales team, as this leader will be the strategic marketer and ambassador for the convention center. Playing a key role in Lynnwood’s broader community developments, the General Manager will creatively promote the Lynnwood Convention Center to attract new group business.  

Lynnwood Convention Center boasts 34,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and hosts various events, including conventions, conferences, meetings, tradeshows, consumer shows, special events, banquets, and other social events. The new General Manager will have the opportunity to function as a destination leader in Lynnwood, WA, and will be responsible for the overall management, promotion, and operation of the facility, including construction, purchasing, policy formulation, booking, marketing, finance, food and beverage, box office, advertising, security, production, maintenance, and related operations. This leader will give direction to each department, as needed, through each department’s director.
