The Natrona County Travel & Tourism Council is a joint powers council whose mission is to enhance the economic base of Natrona County through tourism. Doing business as Visit Casper, the organization’s primary objective is to encourage more, and longer visitor stays through marketing programs aimed at conventions and meetings, individual, motor coach, and special events markets. While supporting the travel and hospitality industry through cutting-edge marketing, sales, and PR, Visit Casper also facilitates grant dollars to fund local events. As a destination marketing organization funded by a lodging tax, Visit Casper promotes leisure travel, sports, events, and group travel both regionally and nationally. Casper has a long history as an oil boomtown with a cowboy culture anchored by the national treasure of Yellowstone National Park as a regional asset. The Visit Casper team takes pride on being connectors, innovators, and researchers who are obsessed with solving problems and removing roadblocks that stand in the way of the community reaching its highest potential.

Visit Casper is seeking a CEO who values innovation and understands the importance of working with residents to understand the visitor economy and promote the visitor experience. The CEO is supported by the Board of Directors while leading a talented and committed team of 7 professionals and is responsible for an annual budget of roughly $1.8M. Building upon the successful legacy created by Visit Casper, the CEO will behave with agility and curiosity, as the energetic and creative pioneer who appreciates the organization’s standard for excellence. The new CEO will carry the commitment to partnering with local municipalities and other community stakeholders to promote sustainable growth for the next generation of visitors through advancement in tourism development, community improvements, and supporting events. The successful candidate understands the diversity of today’s visitor, building experiences for the business, recreation, and entertainment traveler while capitalizing on all the region has to offer.
