The Visit York County Hospitality & Civic Advancement Internship is a 10-week, paid program that connects students with employers in Rock Hill and Fort Mill, SC. In addition to hands-on experience, students will participate in a weekly leadership development curriculum where they will interact with elected officials, learn about industry best practices, and experience the historical and exciting area attractions. Employers include American Cornhole League, Anne Springs Close Greenway, and several area hoteliers, among others. Housing will be provided to qualified out-of-state students.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled in junior or senior year at an accredited university studying hospitality, sports management, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience working in sports, hospitality, or event management is preferred
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
